Our Story

Casa Molina Cigar's journey started in 2010 when the Molina family opened their first retail shop and began offering their own line of cigars. Over the years, the family has worked with many well-known cigar makers and tobacco leaf growers. In 2025, the family decided to organize a more formal means of distribution to cigar shops and tobacconists across the US with their brands Pelayo, Valle de la Muerte, and Serie España.

The family plans include establishing their own factory in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, while still working with current factory partners like Tabacalera La iSLA. Currently, Casa Molina is working with a Perique tobacco farming operation in St. James Parish whose leaves will end up in future cigar lines. The family vision includes re-establishing the Bayou State as a tobacco concern.
